Ready for some cooler weather

It is so hot here, I'm ready for cooler weather. So thought I would mentally think that it was cool outside with some fall projects. The milk carton is from a template that I have and the spiderweb punch is one of Martha Stewarts new punches, also the window punch came with the set. I purchase it in a set from HSN. Thanks for looking.

Beach Layouts

It has been so long since I did a scrapbook page, thought I should maybe try a few to get back into the swing of things. How can you not love doing beach layouts they are so fun and relaxing. Makes you want stick your toes in the sand.

Tim Holtz Flowers

These were made using the Tim Holtz flower die, yes they are super easy to make with a scoring board, but these are even easier. Out of a 2 inch peice of paper you can get 2 of these cute little flowers. They are scored so all you do is fold and glue and decorate the way you would like.
After hanging out with Lorraine for a few days at the beach earlier in the week I think I got my crafting mojo back. Its always fun to have friends that enjoy the same thing you do and that you can bounce ideas back and forth. Thanks for the tip on cutting the gems apart. Hop on over to her blog too and see some of her creations. http://cardcreationsbylorraine.blogspot.com

Inky Antics and Honey Pop

These cards are so much fun to make. It will make a kid out of you everytime you open the card. If you would like to see more you can go to the www.inkyantics.com site they have the stamps and the honeypop paper. I purchased mine at Archivers. The stamps are great even if you don't have the honey pop paper. Trying to use up some of those scraps, along with my copics, these were done alittle bit more masculine as most people know masculine cards seem to be a little harder to make sometimes. Thanks for looking and would love to hear your comments.

Birthday Wishes

The first card was done using the Just a Note from the E2 machine for the cupcakes, along with stickles, Birthday Wishes, and a Punch for the border for the cupcakes.
The second card was done with the stampin up set, I wanted this to look like a walk up pastry shop.

And the best part about these 2 cards is I used all scraps. I am trying hard to use up some of my scraps so my next few posting will be using nothing but scrap papers. Please check back to see what else I'll be posting.

Daffy Daffodils

This is a card I made using a stamp from Heartfelt Creations, they were at the GASC in Chantilly last weekend. I just love their stamps and products. This always reminds me of the first daffodil you see at the start of spring, because you know spring is on the way. I colored with copics, used orange stickles, punch is MS Aster, rhinestones and used a atyou spica glitter pin, these pins actually have ground glass in them which make the glitter so fine. The camera may not show the glitter but it is on all the creases of the flower. Thanks for stopping by.
