This card was quite fun to make using one of the prima doll stamps. Was done with the wizard of oz theme.  Used several different embellishments from recollections trim, lace, stick pins, flowers, paper doilies, box pleated trim, paper roses, ribbon roses.  Thanks for looking.

Graphic 45 Curtin Call

While it has been awhile since I have posted anything, I have been wanting to try my hand at some graphic 45 paper that I got from Big Lots.  So here is my first attempt with this paper line.  I did use the silhouette to cut my beige background on card it is actually a open design envelope and i just folded over some brown paper and glued down, I used glimmer mist on my flowers, some black cardboard for my background papers, and some bling to make it pop alittle.  Inside I used a stamp from my stash and elevated the cardboard at bottom with foam tape to have a place to put my stick pins.  Thanks for stopping by sorry it has been so long, but I'm so thankful for my faithful followers.

You go First

This is a card I made using some Loralie fabric cutouts, lace, spellbinder dies, and one of the corner dies from the  Marianne Dies called the Creatable Dies - Anja Corner.  I cut and embossed on all four corners, What I found works best so your other images dont get smashed is to have a smaller piece of the tan mat the size of the die, this will help when embossing.  Added some flowers from Michaels dollar bin, along with some slick pearls, and one of my stickpins,  this is a 6 x 6 card.  Saying says "Getting old is just apart of life... You go first."   Thanks for popping in today.

Weekend Projects

Greetings, hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend, I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with a crafting buddy. Always a good time when spent with friends and crafting projects. The first project was stick pins as they are so much fun to make, great to add to cards and over all just fun to make and they all turn out different. I use the styrofoam cone for drying my pins. When they are wet I hang them upside down so gravity keeps them in place while glue is drying. Then I turn right side up to let me know they are ready for use.
My next project was a cute little pin cushion to keep right by my work station on my desk.  I plan on making a larger one to store all my stick pins in when making cards. I used a small picture frame for this one.
I also made a couple of cards using some stamps from Justrite, the first one is using the Alphabet Soup, I love this background stamp made by Justrite and part of the Amazing Paper Grace designs.  I also used flowers made using the Quilled Creations Dies, Justrite Ever After Antique Labels One for the Happy Anniveresary.
My last project for the weekend was a christmas card, I used stamps and dies from Justrite to make this card. Merry & Bright, and Deck the Halls.  Thanks for looking.
