Welcome Ya'll

Everybody knows that ya'll is a Southern thing so wanted ya'll to have a little southern welcome when you come to visit.  Went to a scrapbooking crop this weekend and this is what I made, since I have a ton of vinyl just sitting there looking so pretty I decided to give it a proper home.  So Ya'LL be sure and come back now to see more versions of this.

Love Birds

Thanks for stopping by on this Memorial Day, I just want to say this day is such a special day even though we are mourning those that have fought the fight for our freedom before us, we owe graditude to each and everyone that has and is or will fight for our freedoms in the future.

I fell in love with this stamp when I saw it. It is made by Whimsy and is called Bird Swing, This is a 6 x 6 card, I personnally like doing the 6 x6 cards even though they cost more to mail it gives you more room to add things to your card. I'm really trying to use some different color combinations. Colored with copics and glitter pens, used MS branch punch and once again I didn't label my punch I don't know what it is called.  I have started labeling all my punches now when I get them so that I know what they are called when working on projects.  Thanks for popping in today.

Tinkerbell made me get side tracked

While making use of time today to work and clean up some in my craft room tinkerbell persuaded me that I need to make something.  While this probably something that you might already have done, I guess I had put last years calendar away for a reason.  It was just to pretty to throw out so I found a new use for it.  I use the back cover of the calendar which has all the images for the calendar year in little squares for viewing.  I thought that would make a perfect book mark to give with gifts or along with the card.  The card was made using the larger image on the back of the calendar and the small images made the bookmark.  A simple and easy project to do with your left over calendars next year or if you still have them laying around like I did.  I also used a martha stewart punch which I can't remember the name, SU window punch and some scrap ribbon peices out of my stash jar, along with one of my new loves washi tape.  Now its back to cleaning time so that I can feel like I got some accomplished this weekend.  Thanks for looking.

Many Thanks

Good Morning Blogger Buddies, thought I would make some thank you cards today, Can never have to many cards as back up you never know when you are gonna need that special card.  My first card I used the A1125 Thanks stamp from CTMH, these stamps sell for $6.95 and are wonderful to add to any collection. Embossed the stamped imaged along with some vintage lace I had  in my stash added some buttons and paper is from some of my 4.5 x 6.5 mat stacks along with Old Olive stampin up green.  I have so many packs of mat stacks the card is 5 x 7.
The 2nd card is using the same image just in different color, and is a very simple card, as the paper was so busy I didn't think this card needed anything else to add to it. Sometimes simple is all you need. This card is a 5.5 x 7.5, added a piece of white cardstock with sheer ribbon behind the sentiment and one vintage button.

Thanks for popping by.  Enjoy your weekend.

Today's card is a simple card but was fun to put together, tring to use other color combinations something that maybe I wouldn't normally use.  I used Blue and Orange I think this card pops.  The stamp is a CTMH  Shell A1128 embossed with Stampin Up Tempting Turquoise and the shape is a Just Rite Custom Die made by Spellbinders called Nested Medallion.  Thanks for stopping by.

I started with a 6 x 6 card base in black cut a 5 inch scalloped square, the oval is a spellbinder die called Floral oval, I also used the foliage for the leaves, and the inside of the card was the Fleur De Lis retangle.  Flowers were cut at around 3-4 inches from the flower shop cricut cart, stamp was a CTMH stamp for the Happy Mothers day, added some pearls also.  Butterfly was an acetate image from PK Glitz that I gluded and glittered and then cut out and pop dotted to card. Enjoyed making this card, the flower shoppe cart is such a great cart to have so many possibilities, now you never have to wonder if you have flowers to match your projects.

Fun Cards with Girlfriends

I got some new stamps by Art Impressions called Girlfriends loving these fun stamps.  These cards are 6 x 6 and colored with copics.  The first one is In the Tub which we all could use a hot tub break with friends and as the saying says WIne gets better with age... We get better with wine!  Just a great way to relax, now if the person that borrowed my hot tub would just return it we would be all set.
The next one is out to lunch something I enjoy doing very much is having lunch with friends.  Now if they would only listen to me.  I try to tell them that If I've learned anything in my 29 years it's lie about your age.

Thanks for taking a break and visiting, next time bring the wine.

Spent NSD at Archivers in Raleigh NC, day spent crafting with friends who could ask for more.

 Have a great day.

Cling Mount Stamp Storage

I have been doing some more stamp organization, I have removed all my stamps from their blocks and put them either on cling mount or I just buy cling or clear now.  I love this new way of storing my stamps, I did a video earlier on my clear mount and I brought it over to my cling too.  I have taken all my SU and others and put all together, freeing up lots of SU cases, and space.  Each sheet will hold many stamp sets, some of them have between 7-9 different SU stamp sets on one sheet.  I have a notebook with all my stamped images in it except these last few.  On this storage some you will see have clear sheets for the stamps those are the 8 x 10 pieces of plexiglass that you can get for like $1.95 at lowes, some have white sheets this is just laminated cardstock, and then their are a few of the justrite that I can fit 2 of the sheet into, on these I just ran a piece of clear tape where they are joined together.  I have found that I'm using many more stamps this way. The holders are by Office Depot 9 x 12 job tickets AVery also sells these.
Rubbermaid tote from Walmart32 qt measures 18.7 l x 13.3 W x10.5 D.

Plexiglass sheets from lowes

Lamitnated cardstock

Justrite stamps taped together with clear tape

This is working out wonderful, I now have a ton of CD cases and SU cases that I will probably need to find a new home for.  Thanks for looking at another storage idea.

Graduation Cassie

Graduation is quickly approaching and as seniors get ready to go out into the world, we need to stop and remember what a special time of year this really is.  This card was made for a dear friend of mine, her daughter is graduating this year.  I chose the colors of black and silver that is what the school colors are, I used a digital stamp from Sassy Studios, used my large scallop retangle, oval, & frame spellbinder dies along with  cricut storybook and  graduation cricut carts for the inside, ribbon is from Stampin up along with the graduation saving on the front of card, I also used my first washi tape at the top and bottom of card.

Congrats to all the seniors out there wish the best of luck in your future.

Crafty Lady

I decided to do some coloring of some images that I had laying around, I had minor foot surgery on Monday so haven't been able to walk much.  So while I been surfing the net and watching the tv I decide to color some of my favorite images.  I used a Loralie digital image colored with my copics, punched edges are done with Martha Stewart Cherished Punch around the page, I also used glitter pens and some stickles.  Thanks for Looking.
