Yummy Sweet Treats

I have a family reunion that I'm hosting this year and as a few gifts to be given away I decided to give something that could be used over and over again.  The containers were perfect to decorate as everyone knows when you go to a family reunion there is probably more food than people there.  Thats one day your diet goes on hold because there is just to many yummies and sweet treats that you can't just choose one you have to sample all.  I used the cricut craft room  cricut font and basic shapes along with storybook for the titles.  Made my circle in different sizes and cut in vinyl.  Added some ribbon to each handle and  now I don't even have to wrap as these are to pretty to wrap.  Hope they like them as much as I do.

Happy Fathers Day

To all the great men in our lives we should be thankful for so many awesome and wonderful dads.  I made this card for my brother n law as he is totally into tractors.  I know you can still see the wet glue on this but as I was given very little time to make this I had to rush and deliver to my sister before we left so that's why glue is still wet.  I used the Everyday paperdolls for the tractor along with MS Punch and the Stampin up ovals and photo corners punches.  This was a real quick card put together in less than 15 minutes but I think it turned out cute, added some buttons for alittle embellishing.  Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday to Me

These flowers came from my hubby and my parents, it has been a great birthday so far, as I celebrated earlier in the week with good friends with lunch, shopping and some great presents, I also received some new clothes from DH since  my weight loss, he is always so loving and supportive.  We will enjoy dinner out tonite at my favorite restaurant Logan's steak house.  I'm so blessed to have people that care about me and enjoy celebrating with me too.  Life is good so make sure to take time and stop in your busy everyday life and smell the flowers and enjoy your friends and family.  Hugs and kisses to all that have touched my life in so many amazing ways.

Happy Fathers Day

With fathers day this weekend I decide to make a few cards for the guys in my life.  I used the free images for cards that you can get from Cricut Craft Room till June 19, 2012.  That was so generous of Provo craft to allow us to have some free images for a short spell.  The cards were made to be like 5 1/2 size cards.  The shirt and tie I also used the SU tag punch for the pockets and the new paper peircing pack for outlinging around the pocket and a CTMH stamp for the Happy Fathers day.   The World's greatest father was cut at 6 x 12 and I added some extra color and a sentiment on the inside, along with some buttons.  The 3rd one and middle one is my favorite Man of the house.  I cut this at 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 all the cutouts I'm saving for some guy page scrapbook layouts.  These are not your  frilly and bling out cards but are still cut in my opinion hope you like and hurry on over to cricut craft room and check these out it is a free download.  Thanks for looking.

I used the Over the Hill & Pretty pennants cartridges on this card. 29 again was cut at 1.75 and the pennants were cut at 4.5.  added some flat pearls and some small wedding flowers, I love the zebra paper that comes in so many bright and pretty colors. Gives you a touch of the wild side of things.

Tulips for you

Tulips brings special people to mind when I see them. I just love the images on Art Nouveau, this is where the tulips came from and were cut at 4 1/2 inches the background was from Elegant Edges another favorite of mine.  Card base is a 5 x 7 and the lattice was made using MS lattice punch, little bows came out of the wedding section and butterflys are little confetti pieces.  I will be doing a few more cards this week using the Art Nouveau and tulips, look forward to seeing you soon.

Welcome Ya'll

Everybody knows that ya'll is a Southern thing so wanted ya'll to have a little southern welcome when you come to visit.  Went to a scrapbooking crop this weekend and this is what I made, since I have a ton of vinyl just sitting there looking so pretty I decided to give it a proper home.  So Ya'LL be sure and come back now to see more versions of this.

Love Birds

Thanks for stopping by on this Memorial Day, I just want to say this day is such a special day even though we are mourning those that have fought the fight for our freedom before us, we owe graditude to each and everyone that has and is or will fight for our freedoms in the future.

I fell in love with this stamp when I saw it. It is made by Whimsy and is called Bird Swing, This is a 6 x 6 card, I personnally like doing the 6 x6 cards even though they cost more to mail it gives you more room to add things to your card. I'm really trying to use some different color combinations. Colored with copics and glitter pens, used MS branch punch and once again I didn't label my punch I don't know what it is called.  I have started labeling all my punches now when I get them so that I know what they are called when working on projects.  Thanks for popping in today.

Tinkerbell made me get side tracked

While making use of time today to work and clean up some in my craft room tinkerbell persuaded me that I need to make something.  While this probably something that you might already have done, I guess I had put last years calendar away for a reason.  It was just to pretty to throw out so I found a new use for it.  I use the back cover of the calendar which has all the images for the calendar year in little squares for viewing.  I thought that would make a perfect book mark to give with gifts or along with the card.  The card was made using the larger image on the back of the calendar and the small images made the bookmark.  A simple and easy project to do with your left over calendars next year or if you still have them laying around like I did.  I also used a martha stewart punch which I can't remember the name, SU window punch and some scrap ribbon peices out of my stash jar, along with one of my new loves washi tape.  Now its back to cleaning time so that I can feel like I got some accomplished this weekend.  Thanks for looking.
