Criss Cross Bunny

This card was made as a criss cross 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. Super easy to make. And the slide out for the note is great for adding gift cards too. Stamp used was inkadinkado, spellbinder circle and scalloped and label. I really like making these cards.

Thanks for hopping in today.

All Dressed Up

Todays card was done with the Stampin Up set All dressed up.  My friend Barbie from http://senditagain.blogspot.com/  let me borrow her All Dressed Up set dies and stamps.  So this is what I decided to do with this one.  The card is 6 x 6, the lattice look is a die cut image from cricut it was one of their free cuts for one of the pevious weeks, I also used a card front from a package of zebra cards that I had on hand, along with a spellbinder floral ovals, added some bling cutouts pieces along with gathered a piece of sheer ribbon and stamped the birthday wishes stamp and glued on top of gathered ribbon.  Everybody knows that you should all have that special little black dress for those special occasions.  I think she will be noticed in this this little number thanks for looking.

Forever Friends

This  card is another 6 x 6, I mounted my patterned paper on brown that was embossed, with some ribbon that matched the colors. Center isa metal frame that was in my junk box, I cut the friends forever out of a card that had been given to me and mounted it in the frame minus the plastic from inside the frame, I had several strips of the accordian sheets and put 2 together glued to a circle and then added some lace around the back of the accordian folded  piece.  This was a quick card to make.  I'm trying to really work hard and using alot of the things that I keep holding on to for some odd reason whether its I like it or just cant justify throwing it out yet.  Alot of times when you get cards from friends they are either just thrown away but all those store bought cards could find a new purpose if we just took the time to see if maybe we could reuse some of it, that way it is still bringing joy to others too.  Thanks for stopping by today so next time you get that store bought card from someone or even see them at thrift stores maybe you can find a new way of using them for your cards.

Ever had a day where you just feel like crafting and have no motivation what so ever to drag everything out that you need.  Today was one of those days so I decided to just see what was laying around in my scrap box and dont you know after just browsing a little while something popped into my head just to use what was in my scrap box, this is what I came up with, just a few cards with left over peice of paper.  Thanks for stopping in today.

For the Love of Purple

This is a 6 x6 card, I used the Creatable die Anjor for the opposite corners and then added some ribbon roses, paper roses, and a rose from the spellbinder flowers, I also used the foliage spellbinder die for the leaves, butterflies are the little netting ones.  On the inside I used the Stampin up embossing folder textured impressions along with the back of a card that I cut the front off of.  The way to get both images so they dont get squished is to run through your machine only part way and then do the other side.  Thanks for looking and may your garden always have beautiful roses in bloom.

You go First

This is a card I made using some Loralie fabric cutouts, lace, spellbinder dies, and one of the corner dies from the  Marianne Dies called the Creatable Dies - Anja Corner.  I cut and embossed on all four corners, What I found works best so your other images dont get smashed is to have a smaller piece of the tan mat the size of the die, this will help when embossing.  Added some flowers from Michaels dollar bin, along with some slick pearls, and one of my stickpins,  this is a 6 x 6 card.  Saying says "Getting old is just apart of life... You go first."   Thanks for popping in today.

Turning Five

Today my granddaughter will be turning five, it is so hard to beleive she is already five.  I remember holding her for the very first time so tiny and precious.  While I can not be with her as she lives 13.5 hours away not a day goes by that I don't think of  my precious angel.  So here's to turning five your GiGi loves you and wishes you only the best may all your wishes come true.  Looking forward to giving you kisses when I see you at Disney.  So for now Minnie is gonna take some love your way.  Happy Birthday Erika!!
