Lemonade anyone

I used the Savory Cricut lite cart for the picture of lemonade, it is poped up with an action wobble, I embossed the card with one of the folders from the set Preserves, colored the lemons with my stampin up markers, used a glitter pen for the seeds,& put liquid glass over the picture to make it look glassy. The stamped words are from TPC Studio stamps called a Slice of LIfe, on the inside it says Take it easy with a cold glass of lemonade.

First video of a messy room

This is a trial run of posting my first video.  It is not the best quality but for $10 it works for now and thanks to Lorraine I now know how to post videos.  I will post a better video when the room is clean after my vacation to FL to see my grandkids. Just a peak at my room.

Fabric Applique Card

I used one of the images from some appliques of Loralie designs, Iused elegant edges, Stampin up Topenote die, spellbinders. I typed the sentiment on my computer and printed it out. Used liquid applique to give dimension to her dress.

Elegant Edges and Everyday Popup

These are a couple of cards I made today. The second one I used elegant edges and everyday popup on. I also used some of my new twine and added some gems and buttons.

Keeping track of all those Cricut Carts

There is a lady that has done an awesome job of making a list for your cricut cartridges. You can go through an check the ones you have or the ones you want and print it off and keep up with it for your own records. After doing this I realized I have accumlated a total of 198 cricut cartridges. Wow!!!!! Maybe that explains why I have a hard time finding things. Thanks for sharing that link with us.

Reused SU Blocks

I saw this done on a yahoo video from Luvleescrappin. She had used a peice of wood and cut down to size. However, I had several Stampin Up Blocks that I had not mounted my stamps on as I've started to unmount all my stamps. I only have a few of the Tim Holtz inks but really like them so I decided to give my SU blocks a new life instead of throwing them away. Luckily I had 8 that were all the same size.
1. First I added some strips of double sided foam tape to the black of the block.
2. I then added the rough loopy side of velcro on top of the foam tape, you can use alittle glue to if you like but I don't use them that much so I will just be careful.
3. Peice of felt cut to size to fit block will attach to velcro.
4. The container is a small DMC thread box that I got along time of go that was sitting in a box, you can use larger ones if you want more blocks.

As the SU blocks have little grooves on the sides so I don't need a handle when I'm using the inks.

I will then label on top which color is on the pad so that when I look in the container I can just grab what I need.
