I have been so excited over the last week, waiting so patiently for my new business to arrive.  You ask what it is?  Well let me tell you alittle about PAPARAZZI  it is a fairly new company that is a home party plan company.  All the accessories are $5!  Yeap you read that right all items braclets, earrings, necklace, kids jewelry, hairclips, headbands & rings are ONLY $5.  The best part of this new business is when you do a party or basket party you don't have to wait to get your items, you take them home with you that night.  And the inventory is constantly changing and each consultant will have different items.  So now you can Be Beautiful on a Budget.

The long awaited package arrives Its like Christmas.

This is the display that I made to display all my jewelry on.

Sign made with my cricut the zebra background is a magnetic board from Michaels.

Lets go Muddin

This card is done for my son in law, as he loves to go muddin.  He has a truck that he has put 36 inch tires on  and is currently restoring.  The grandkids love to ride in daddy's big truck so since his birthday is coming I decided to make him this truck from Fathers Day cricut cartridge for the front of his birthday card, I used tinfoil taped to a piece of cardstock and then embossed for the silver diamond plate look.  Hope he likes it and I know hes looking forward to finishing his truck one of these days so he can take it out muddin.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Some of my Christmas Cards

I used the Anna Griffin Christmas card set to make most of these cards, fairly quick and super  easy. Since I'm trying to be alittle a head of the game this year and get all my cards done early.  I made 2 of each card tonite. This was a pretty cool kit as it had all the pieces were already cut to size so it was just having to put them together. Sorry some of my pictures didn't turn out that great I didn't have all my lighting set up. Thanks for stopping in today.

Poinsetta Ornament Card

Todays card was made with one of the poinsetta ornaments from Walmart they are 97 cents and come in some pretty colors like pink, red, purple, blue and silver.  The card base is a 5 x7 card, I also used the Spellbinders die Resplendent Rectangles the 2 largest dies for the red and white background, I then used the 2nd from the smallest for the smaller red piece and then used one of the tags from Fancy tags 2, stamped Merry Christmas with a dollar stamp from Michaelspopped it up & added a bow and some brads for alittle in the center.  I did cut the poinsetta apart and glued it down.  Thanks for looking and now I'm one card closer to having my cards done.

Halloween Cascade Card

Today's card was one that I saw done and thought how cute but probably difficult to do, but I decided to give it a shot.  Turned out to be super easy to make, took me longer to decorate the card and add my patterned paper than it did to make the card.
What you need for this card is 1 piece of paper cut at 81/2 x 12,   You will then make a mark at 51/2 down to 3 inches.  This will be your cut line you do not have to draw a line just make a few little marks (but if you do pencil your line you will have to go back and erase).  After it is cut you will then score at  the 2, 4, 8 & 10,  make a very fine mark at 6 but not an actual score.  Now you will go back and make a fine pencil mark at 23/4 down to 11/2,  On your score line you will now cut one piece on the bottom at 2 & 10, up to your line, then cut at the fine line at 6 from top down to line should be cut half way on each cut, do the same for the other piece but cut from the top at 2 and 10 and from the bottom at 6.  Fold your card and you will then slide the cut pices into each other.  Use your scorer to press down the folds. Then decorate as you see fit with your cricut cuts, extra 3d stickers you have laying around or just have fun with it. I did mine just alittle different than the lady on this video but this is an excellent video showing you how it will go together.  http://www.frenchiestamps.com/2012/02/cascading-card-easy-way.html
When I finished with the card I actually let out a squeal cause I couldn't beleive I actually did it and it turned out great on my first try.  Hubby was in the room and was wondering why I was so happy.  Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Halloween.

Thinking of you

This card was super quick to make, its not very elaborate but I just love the pink and brown butterfly paper so I wanted to do real simple.  The scallopped bottom edge is done with the MS Cherish punch and I did 4 layers alternating the colors, the ribbon is from my SU friend Barbie it matched perfect, and the thinking of you sentiment is from a set of preprinted cutouts, I also cut one of the butterflies from the paper to pop dot on the ribbon.  Gonna send this to a friend who is having a rough time just to let her know I'm thinking of her.

Triple Layer Stamping Technique

I saw this card on pinterest and thought the technique looked fun so here is my attempt at this card.  I used just a random stamp that I had laying on my desk,Black mat sizes are card base cut at 51/2 x 81/2 folded in half, 31/4 x 41/2 and 21/4 x 31/2 White cardstock was cut at 2 x 31/4, 3 x 41/4, 4x51/4.  Stamped my images.  You can see the  video  how this is done at Dawn Olchefske's triple layer stamping technique,  Added some ribbon and stickpin and button, I think I will be making more of these with different stamps.  Thanks for stopping by today.
